Let us take a second to appreciate one of the more genuine badasses in video game history.

I love this man and I actually know a man by the same name who acts exactly like him. It must be a trait synonymous with the name.

So let us all love Reno, that crazy redheaded bastard of the Turks.

How is he a badass?

Well, for starters, it seems like every other character in FF7 is infused with Mako. Reno is not. Neither are the rest of the Turks. Remember that fight in the game where you fight Reno, Rude, and Elena at once? Remember how hard that fucking fight really is? That’s done with nothing but good old fashioned training. There is not a drop of Mako in the Turks; they are all in their positions for a damned good reason.

For all the shit that happens to this guy, Reno’s one of those who shrugs it off, dusts his clothes off, and gets right back in the game.

One of the best NPCs in gaming history, in my opinion. Him and his partner and best bud, Rude.
